Appointment. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment. A letter of medical necessity or prescription is needed from your doctor telling us what we need to do for you and why. Your insurance company requires this in order to process your claim. Please call to see if we accept your insurance.
*Since we are not a medical care facility, please have an assistant for a patient who needs extra help or care while in our office. |
TimesAppointments for new prostheses and new scleral shell prostheses start at 9:00 a.m. and we are usually done around 4:00 p.m. A new protheses requires two breaks during the day. The first break is usually between 10:00 and 10:30 for 2 hours. The second break is between 1:00 and 2:00 for 2 hours.
There is a coffee shop in our building and there are plenty of other options for food. The Galleria shopping mall is within walking distance across the street. |
Follow-upWe will have you return in about one month to see how you are doing, check your socket, and make any adjustments if needed. If adjustments need to be made, the follow-up appointments can take as long as 3.5 hours and they start between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.

AdjustmentsAdjustments are free of charge for 8 weeks from the day your prosthesis is made.
